Dr. Rocio Ochoa is an executive leader, human-capital strategist, leadership coach, educator, and organizational-development facilitator with more than 20 years of experience helping executives and organizations translate vision into meaningful action.

Throughout her career, Dr. Ochoa has served as a Chief of Staff, Chief Administrative Officer, Director of Operations, HR leader, executive advisor, and college-level educator. Her experience spans professional services, financial services, insurance, real estate, higher education, and mission-driven organizations. This breadth of experience gives her a comprehensive understanding of leadership, people, operations, workplace culture, and the systems organizations need to move from ideas to sustainable execution.

Dr. Ochoa specializes in developing leaders, strengthening organizational culture, and building the structures that allow people and institutions to perform at their highest level. Her work includes executive coaching, leadership development, strategic planning, organizational design, human-capital strategy, workforce development, policy creation, change management, conflict resolution, and professional learning. She is particularly skilled at bringing clarity and accountability to complex, fast-moving, or ambiguous environments.

Currently serving as Fractional Chief of Staff and Director of Human Capital at Onward Neighborhood House, Dr. Ochoa partners with executive leadership to advance organizational priorities across people, operations, education, technology, finance, and shared services. She develops leadership systems, workforce strategies, policies, onboarding practices, performance-management processes, and professional-development initiatives designed to strengthen accountability, communication, trust, and execution. Her previous leadership experience includes senior roles with Wirtz Corporation, Worthy Insurance, TigerRisk Partners, Egon Zehnder International, and TransMarket Group.

Dr. Ochoa holds an Ed.D. in Ethical Business Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University, an MBA from Northern Illinois University, a Master of Liberal Arts from the University of Chicago, and a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University. She also holds credentials in paralegal studies, employment law, and mediation and is an Illinois Notary Public. As a first-generation Latina professional and bilingual leader, she brings cultural awareness, lived experience, and a deep commitment to expanding access to leadership, education, and professional opportunity.

Dr. Norma A. Guzmán is a mission-driven educational leader, coach, mentor, professional learning facilitator, and invited speaker with more than 26 years of experience strengthening early childhood, K–12, and higher-education communities.

Throughout her career, Dr. Guzmán has served as a principal, master teacher, program director, adjunct professor, and schoolwide culture leader. This breadth of experience gives her a comprehensive understanding of the challenges educators face and the leadership, systems, and support necessary to help schools and educational organizations thrive.

Dr. Guzmán specializes in developing educators, strengthening organizational culture, and creating learning environments grounded in dignity, accountability, inclusion, and belonging. She has led restorative-practice initiatives, professional learning systems, family-engagement efforts, policy development, and data-informed improvement strategies supporting students, educators, and families.

Currently serving as Director of Student Climate and Culture at the Frances Xavier Warde School, Dr. Guzmán provides leadership across two campuses serving more than 800 students from preschool through eighth grade. She has helped unify schoolwide practices by integrating restorative approaches, Responsive Classroom principles, social-emotional learning, and a “behavior as communication” philosophy. As an adjunct professor of Early Childhood Education at Oakton College, she also prepares aspiring educators—including multilingual and ESL learners—to lead inclusive, developmentally appropriate classrooms.

Dr. Guzmán is also an experienced conference presenter, invited speaker, and panel participant who facilitates important conversations about education, leadership, family engagement, and inclusion. She has presented for the Golden Corridor Association for the Education of Young Children, Oakton College’s Annual Conference, and the UIC and Illinois Action for Children Symposium. Her presentations have addressed difficult conversations with families, communication during times of crisis, and strategies for supporting autistic children and their families. She delivers presentations in both English and Spanish, allowing her to engage educators, caregivers, and community members across diverse settings.

Dr. Guzmán holds an Ed.D. in Administration and Supervision, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, and a B.A. in Applied Behavioral Science from National Louis University. She is also an Executive Scholar through Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a certified SEED leader, a credentialed Montessori educator, and a fluent Spanish speaker.

Ernesto “Tito” Ochoa is a motivational speaker, mentor, workforce-pathways facilitator, and advocate for second chances whose life embodies resilience, accountability, and personal transformation.

A Mexican immigrant, Ernesto experienced circumstances that profoundly influenced the choices he believed were available to him. After losing his direction as a young man, he faced incarceration and detention by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Those experiences forced him to confront the consequences of his decisions and determine what kind of life he wanted to build moving forward.

Ernesto chose to rebuild. Through humility, discipline, education, and hard work, he transformed adversity into achievement. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from DePaul University, became a certified millwright and industrial mechanic, and built a successful professional career requiring technical expertise, leadership, reliability, and complex problem-solving.

Today, Ernesto uses his experiences to help young people and adults understand that their circumstances may influence their choices, but they do not have to determine their futures. He speaks candidly about incarceration, immigration, accountability, rebuilding trust, and the courage required to choose a different path. His story demonstrates that one poor decision does not have to become a life sentence and that a difficult chapter does not have to define an entire life.

Ernesto connects authentically with young people, immigrant families, justice-impacted individuals, and adults working to rebuild their lives. His combination of lived experience, academic achievement, professional discipline, technical knowledge, and bilingual communication allows him to reach individuals who may feel overlooked, discouraged, or unable to envision meaningful opportunities for themselves.
